Recently the pod systems are very popular, so I bought Smoant S8 Pod System and JUSTFOG MINIFIT Pod System for a test, make a simple comparison.
About the appearance. S8 is cobblestone shape, the appearance is similar to the mirror surface, the MINIFIT is U disk shape, the plastic shell is coated with a layer of matte. The weight of S8 is 75g, the MINFIT’s weight is about 30g, the S8 has more weight when it feels, the grip is comfortable, the justfog minifit is small, the matte material is also very good. About the appearance, I prefer S8.
In terms of refiling, the S8 is a single hole with a large aperture. The general bottle is no problem, and the MINIFIT is a double hole. Although the hole is small, the rubber ring is designed to plug the bottle inside.
In terms of resistance and intake, the S8 is aerodynamically designed, sometimes it produced small smoke. The MINIFIT is an ignition design with no delay in ignition. Pneumatic is convenient, precise ignition, each has its own merits.
About the tip drip, the smoant s8 is smaller than the MINIFIT’s, and it has a feeling of smoking. The suction resistance of the MINIFIT is relatively small and even feel my the lung. (However, the MINIFIT can block one of the air intakes with something to increase the suction resistance)
In terms of the air intake, the S8’s air inlet is just in below as most of the pod system equipment on the market. The two baffles are blocked, which will cause condensation. After you smoke a half of the e-juice, you have to clean it up, and if it is inverted, it will leak condensation from the drip. The MINIFIT’s air intake is on the front of the cartridge and there is almost no condensation. In addition, there is a small baffle at the drip of the MINIFIT. If you smoke the high-VG e-juice, it may absorb condensation, but if it is inverted, there is almost no condensation and it is almost free from condensation.
The S8 is 370 mAh with a capacity of 2 ml. The MINIFIT is also 370 mAh with a capacity of 1.5 ml. However, since the S8 has a 1.3-ohm coil, the MINIFIT is a 1.6-ohm coil. In actual use, the MINIFIT is more energy-efficient and durable, and the degree of smoke consumption is similar to that of the S8.
Personally speaking, although the MINIFIT’s taste is relatively empty, the e juice is quite good, the resistance of 1.6 ohm is theoretically better than the taste of 1.3 ohm.
